Madeleine Jordan-Lord, Coalition Coordinator
Madeleine Jordan-Lord thrives when she is collaborating on justice-oriented creative projects, and she especially gravitates toward support roles that foster structure and longevity. A humanities student through and through, Madeleine loves researching, writing, editing, and archiving. As a Coalition Coordinator, she is excited to provide her clients with process-oriented support to grow their capacity and create meaningful change. Prior to joining WNA, Madeleine worked for Performing Statistics, a cultural organizing project that uses art to model, imagine, and advocate for a world without youth incarceration. Madeleine has also worked with the Virginia Poverty Law Center on their Campaign to Reduce Evictions, at the Virginia Museum of History and Culture in their guest engagement department, and at the Valentine Museum through their Board Immersion program. Madeleine is a graduate of the University of Richmond in 2018.
Madeleine recently moved to Austin and is grateful to the WNA team for helping her settle into her new surroundings. She is excited to continue to learn about Austin’s history and to find her place in the community. In her free time, Madeleine enjoys watching wildflowers sprout up in the backyard, exploring Austin’s greenbelts, and FaceTiming her friends back home.
